Topic IV - Act 18 自助银行 Banking

In ancient times, Chinese coins where made by pouring silver or copper alloys into moulds. These were broken up, and the coins were strung on square metal rods that just fitted the hole in the coin. The ends of this rod were then put in a vise, and men with files ground down the edges of a thousand or more coins at a time. It is also a form a symbolism in China: the heaven is supposed to be round, and the Earth, in a square shape.
