In China, students can take part in many extra-curricular activities if they become tired from prolonged studies. Many primary schools and high schools have set up "a second classroom" in order to enable the students to develop their hobbies, in which some skills such as playing musical instrument and painting are taught. Moreover, many universities hold dances and inter-school parties, which enable the students to participate in more social activities.
