Enjoying Food - At a Dining-hall

Chinese food is well-known world over. However, it differs greatly from western food. Chinese cuisine uses many different ingredients and combines them all to get wonderfully tasting dishes. The taste of Chinese cuisine varies from provience to provience. Generally speaking, dishes taste sweet in the south, salty in the North, spicy in the east China and sour out the west. There are 8 main groups of cuisine in China, namely Shangdong, Sichuan, Guangdong, Fujian, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Hunan and Anhui cuisine. The Chinese like to use chopsticks at table, not forks and knives.
