Asking for Help - A Classmate’s Help
Modesty is one of the Chinese traditional virtues. Denying oneself is highly regarded in Chinese culture. Chinese people are accustomed to belittle themselves when they are being praised by others. Nowadays, things are changing. When Chinese people are told how beautiful they are or how nice the clothes they are wearing, they often respond by "It’s kind of you to say so".
