Fragrant Hill Park is a well-know scenery spot in Beijing. It’s famous for the autumn red maple leaves. Chairman Mao lived and worked in Fragrant Hill for a short period of time. The best time to visit Fragrant Hill is in the middle of October. There are many visitors that go to Fragrant Hill at this time every year. Due to heavy traffic condition, taxis can only drop you off in the parking area 1 kilometer away from the gate. However, you can take No.904 Bus from Xizhimen Station directly to Fragrant Hill’s main gate.
