Asking for a sick leave
在中国，如果人们有病，既可以看西医，也可以看中医。一般来说，中药和西药不应同时服用。因为，中西药同时服用被认为会影响药效。所以，医生通常会建议中药和西药间隔半个小时服用。 In China, a patient could either resort to traditional Chinese medicine or to western medicine. Generally, Chinese medicine and western medicine could not be taken together, because taking medicine in that way would prevent the medicine from performing its best. Taken it as a fact, the doctor always advise his patient to leave at least half an hour in between taking Chinese medicine and western medicine.
