Title:  Brief Introduction to the Chinese Language(1)

The phonetic system of standard Chinese pronunciation (putonghua) consists fo three subsystem, they are consonants(initals),vowels(finals) and tones. According to the Scheme for the Chinese Phonetic Alphabet, there are 21 initals and 36 finals and 4 tones.(Sometime there is a light tone.)
